Our FM podcast, The Football Manager Football Show, has hit episode ten as we manage to tick off the first month of games in the Championship.
While preseason was a breeze, by the end of this week’s podcast we’re seven games into the league campaign and I’ve already had a few slip-ups against Hull and QPR, not to mention a penalty shootout loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the second round of the League Cup.
Board expectations aren’t exactly being met, the owner is mad to sell the club and I’m rebuilding Leicester from the ground up after selling off the entire spine of the team, plus a few ribs and a limb or two.
There’s a load of transfer activity, both for myself (as Leicester) and Shane (as Wolves) as we try to pin down the squads that will bring at least one of us back to the Premier League.
That’s the goal anyway.
