If you’ve been waiting – like me – to sink your teeth into Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you can do it for free this weekend.
Marking the long-awaited release of AI teammates (at last!) instead of trudging through the Breakpoint world solo, the game is available to play freely from today through Monday night.
Yes, it’s been out a while. True, it’s had a sizeable share of problems and more memes than medals at this stage but given the amount of time I sank into Wildlands (and was late to the party there too), I’m looking forward to running through Breakpoint.

The game is free to play on PS4, PC and Xbox One through Monday. If you opt to buy the game after the weekend, your progress continues.
While the Ubisoft Forward event sales are running, you can pick Breakpoint up for as little as €20 or thereabouts for the standard version. Jump onto Uplay+, which has a 7 day free trial running, and you can bag it as part of the subscription on PC.
