I had to throw the iPod out of the window, and when i took it to the apple store they told me if i had not destroyed it, it would have probably turned into a cylon and took over the human race. Just kidding on that last part, but they did say that it could have lit on fire, so its a good thing i did what i did. When i asked what the problem was, because i told them the truth about my endeavor, the lady told me that a new software patch that was released, without needing to click the upgrade button was installed, This prevented any 3rd party changes to my device.
