Just waiting on the FeedBurner dashboard to catch up - maybe I’ve spoke too soon! As it happens, Paul has a table up in the original post now.

Once the dashboard picks up I’ll give you that one too :) Actually… come to think of it, this is the first time across any of my blogs I think that I’ve passed 100 subscribers. In fact, I’d say that it is. Maybe Saturday will be a good day so, little blogging milestone for myself :)

[...] Ok Ken ,congratulations on hitting 100 so soon - what are you having? Just noticed your ‘105 subscribers‘ post. Didn’t even get a chance to deploy my ’secret [...]

    Ken,

Congratulations both on hitting the ‘3-digit’ milestone, and getting there before me!

    What are you having?

Are you up for a 2nd round of this?

I’ll have a Heineken for my first one. We go onwards to 120? :P Of course, if I win round one, does that mean I get a pint from each of you, Conor, Aidan, James, Robin and Tom? If thats the case I’ll just leave my wallet behind me in KK for the blog awards :D

    Hey Ken,

Congrats on being first over the line.:-)

Are you using the free feedburner package or do you need to subscribe to get some of those stats? Also, do you normally see an boost in traffic at the weekend (you mentioned somewhere else that your previous high was at the weekend)? I always see a drop in traffic at the weekend.

    Aidan,

I’m using the feedburner unit (same as yourself) gives the basic stats.

They also have a feedflare (instructions on the site) that give you website metrics - much the same info as Google Analytics, but updated every couple of hours.

Trafic drop at the weekend , both Google and Feedburner, is normal. There is a link on the feedbruner front page that explains it.

Hey Aidan, I reckon there’s always a drop in traffic at the weekends, likely also because I don’t blog an awful lot at the weekends. I’ve two sports blogs running (soccer and NFL) so seen as they both see weekend action on the pitch I do my weekend blogging there. That of course means that the bulk of my traffic for the sites (LiverpoolAccess.com and TheFootballTimes.com) is at the weekend and always quiet during the week.

The stats are all part of the feedburner free option, haven’t paid for pro stats on any blog.

You’re right about the previous high though, last Sunday it said 96… can’t for the life of me think why it went so high on the day, one of those rare occasions I guess! Usually much quieter here at the weekends.

Ken, thanks for the info. So you’re a Liverpool fan - me too. You should check out my football news aggregator - I’m in the process of revamping it (thinking of moving it more towards a blog and less towards an aggregator) and the server doesn’t have enough memory but it’s usable for the moment: http://www.thedaneshead.org

Surely am, bit annoyed over the derby yesterday but what can you do. Danes Head looks interesting. Had originally gone with something like that myself for The Football Times but ended up going back to a blog as opposed to an aggregator!
