If you’re like me and always on the look out for stock imagery, or photo ideas, take a look at Open Photo, where all images are released under a creative commons license, under Attribution-ShareAlike as a standard. CC licensing is mandatory and going through their archives this morning there’s so real nice stuff in there…

    Ken,

Artistic quality of those look pretty poor to me. Except for the rare magic photo, it’s definitely a case of getting what you pay for.

Try http://www.imagefile.ie/blog/our-collections/subscription-services/ and have a look at the subscription services. A small annual fee will give you much greater depth for your creations!

(specifically ComStock for what you’re up to.)

It is true, a lot of the time you get what you pay for, but there’s always a gem or two amongst the collections if you’re looking for something small and handy :)
